The DPP Film Tech App is a a unique tech guide for film and television production, containing simple, understandable, and up-to-date production information.
The app has been designed to demystify technical jargon for production teams and contains articles on common software and hardware products, explanatory videos, as well as some DPP reports that were previously only available to DPP Members.
In the DPP Film Tech App you will find articles, videos, tables and documents relating to formats, cameras, workflows, post production and delivery requirements. The app is simple to explore, comprehensive, and up-to-date, with content which has been written and checked by media professionals and updated regularly.
Once installed, all of the content in the DPP Film Tech App will be available offline. If your mobile phone is connected to a network, the contents update automatically at short intervals. Exception: videos and PDFs need to be downloaded or streamed so as not to overload your smartphone memory.
The DPP Film Tech App was created by transfermedia production services and the Digital Production Partnership (DPP), and is available in English or German.
